We settled down in two old houses of 1746 and 1830 which we refurbished; these old houses had a past. The church of Scey sur Saône in front of us also contributed to amplify the mystic side of this place. Inaugurated in 1759 it really arises three religious buildings, the others were destroyed because of exiguity. The site was originally a cemetery and the pavement of the church contains some gravestone. In its heart, a vault of the family Bauffremont would exist, the entrance was not still able to be discovered to this day. It is very likely that Philippe de Bauffremont, rider and page of Duke de Bourgogne who settled down after his marriage in 1120 in the castle of Scey sur Saône with Agnés de Vergy or Margueritte of Bourgogne (according to certain sources) wanted to live there for all eternity.Another legend explains that the church contains the bodies of Gabrielle d' Estrée and her child, died from the smallpox during the presence of the troops of Henri IV (some sources fix her death in Paris).
Should you require further information, I advise you to read Mr Elie Sponem's book " A canton of Franche-Comté " From our installation, I noticed strange phenomenon, and to avoid any interpretation which could be influenced by my roots bathed in the spiritualism and my side quack (whom I hold of my family) I prefer to share with you with some photos which can surprise. Real or not real, you can judge but seems amazing anyhow .
" These photographs of the baby in the room were taken with the mobile phone. What is curious is that the head of the bed does not appear in a normal way in the second picture. On the upper right corner the head of the bed is not visible any more, it looks as if it was covered with a light green fabric with a black quarter circle in the angle ".
It is always possible that Odin or Thor, visited us... You can never tell !!! |
